Week 2

Hi Parents,

We had an excellent first day last week.  Just three points for this week:

I hope everyone was able to practice their CC review work for week 1 and fill out their ice cream cones!  Don't bring the sheets back Tuesday, keep them till week 6 when we celebrate!

I need to know if you all have purchased your time line cards yet.

This week's presentation is "telling your favorite story."  Children should be prepared to give a brief descripion of the story.

See you all Tuesday,
Sharae Armand

Welcome back to CC!

Hello Parents,

I hope everyone is excited to be starting classes again!  I know my girls can't wait.  I for one am happy to be getting my own class this year!  I was a sub last cycle and I really enjoyed it.

I have few things to let you know before class begins:

*I just wanted to start by saying, we are shooting for the stars this year in our class!  If Memory Master is your goal, I want to help make that happen!

*I will need moms to participate in class with all activities, to be engaged with the children as they learn and to encourage good efforts.  If it is important to you, it will be important to them.  My job is to model how to drill information at CC, but YOU are your child's best teacher!

*We will encourage one another daily in our attitudes and our hard work.  We will talk weekly about self-control and what that means.

*Our first week's presentation will be an impromptu tutor interview, so no real preparation needed.

*Our classroom is #105.

*I realize most of you will be teaching your own classes, but if ever you have any questions or comments, contact me via email or on our blog.  If there is a problem or you need to speak to me one on one, find me before or after class so we can talk.  You can find my phone number on the parent contact sheet.

We have a wonderful group of little girls in our class.  This will be a great year!

Sincerely,
Sharae Armand
